Tour of the CmpGme Platform

This guide only applies to Shopify and Klaviyo.

Get started with CmpGme

Broadcast Plan

CmpGme helps grow your business by automatically proposing relevant campaigns aligned with your marketing strategy. The system generates suggestions for emails and social media posts based on your selected broadcast plan.

How we create suggestions
Suggestions are based on:

  • trends in your industry and market

  • upcoming holidays and events

  • your best-performing past campaigns

  • focus areas from your latest report

  • rewrites/optimizations of your top 20 campaigns

Types of broadcasts
You can receive suggestions for four types: Blog post, Coupon email (offer email), Newsletter, and Social media post.

Frequency and first run
Every Monday we automatically generate new suggestions and update our view of your latest campaigns and their performance. When you create a broadcast plan for the first time, you’ll receive suggestions within 10–30 minutes. You can track progress under Runs.

Fair use and quality
There’s an upper limit on how many suggestions can be generated. Each suggestion requires substantial data processing and AI resources. The limit ensures quality and fair usage. We continually invest in driving your growth—and we monitor whether suggestions are acted on so those investments deliver real results.

Need help?
Contact support in the bottom-right corner—we’ll guide you through a smooth onboarding.

Todo Overview and Today’s To-Do

Once your broadcast plan is set up, it takes about 15–45 minutes before your first suggestions and daily tasks are ready.

You can always find your tasks under Todo Overview, and Today’s To-Do is always visible on Dashboard/Home.

Tasks can be skipped—and even better, they can be marked as Done after you’ve created the individual broadcast.

On Dashboard/Home you’ll also see Positive business insights and Business-critical issues. These are generated after each monthly run, based on data collected from Shopify.
We highlight the positives first, but the critical issues must be addressed to ensure growth and stability.

Under Suggestions you’ll find recommendations generated from analysis of your broadcasts, the market, and your business KPIs. It’s easy to copy the texts and continue working toward the final broadcast.
We encourage all users to review and edit every suggestion—AI is a powerful tool, but it has limits. It improves over time, and so do we (and you).

You can also add your own ideas and suggestions for broadcasts, and these will be included in the next round of suggestion generation. The more precise you are, the better the results. You’ll also see the AI’s perspective on your broadcast—often with an angle you might not have considered. We view this technology as a strong aid that helps people perform at their best, without stress and without other tasks knocking us off balance.

If you have questions about your suggestions, you’re always welcome to contact support. The more feedback we receive, the stronger your suggestions will become.

Reports

In Reports you get a clear view of your company’s development across three report types: Monthly Key Metrics Report, Progress Report, and Send-out Report.
You can read or listen to the reports — each one includes a built-in audio player that reads the content aloud.

How the reports are written

Both the Key Metrics Report and the Progress Report are written in an executive voice — as if authored by a leadership team consisting of the CEO, CFO, CSO, and CMO. This makes them easy to share with boards and management.

1) Monthly Key Metrics Report

The monthly Key Metrics Report compiles the most important KPIs and trends.
Important: Always add a comment to the Key Metrics Report. Your comment brings in real-world context from operations and sales — not just the digital AI perspective. Once your comment is saved, it becomes the foundation for the next report type.

2) Progress Report

The Progress Report is generated only after you’ve submitted your comment on the Key Metrics Report. It combines AI analysis with your on-the-ground insights and concludes with concrete recommendations and next steps — still written in the executive voice (CEO/CFO/CSO/CMO).

3) Send-out Report

The Send-out Report shows the impact of campaigns and newsletters based on coupon-code performance, so you can see which send-outs actually drive purchases.
Note: This report cannot always be generated if required data is missing from upstream systems (e.g., Shopify).

Tip: Make it a monthly habit to write your comment on the Key Metrics Report. It significantly improves the quality of the Progress Report and makes the recommendations far more actionable — and you can always listen to the reports when you’re on the go.

Key Figures

On the Key Figures page you get a complete overview of your company’s KPIs and financial key metrics per month.
Each month can be expanded to view details, and you can always export the numbers to Excel – either for all months at once or for a specific month.

Vision & Mission

This page defines the profile your AI will operate from. You’re not “filling a form”; you’re giving the system the core story of your business so it can think, write, and prioritise like you.

What you define here

  • Company description – what you do, for whom, and what makes you different.

  • Vision & mission – long-term direction and core purpose.

  • Values – the 3–6 principles that guide decisions and tone.

  • Goals & KPIs – how success is measured and over what timeframe.

  • Markets & target groups – primary segments, pains, triggers.

  • Communication style – tone of voice, words to prefer/avoid, level of formality.

Why it matters

These inputs become the AI’s context: who you are, what you’re aiming for, how you speak, and how you measure progress. Clear, concrete definitions allow the AI to tailor analyses, suggestions, and content precisely to your business. Vague or incomplete inputs lead to generic, off-tone results and misaligned recommendations.

Hallmarks of strong input

  • Specific, not slogan-y. “Grow DK B2B MRR by 25% in 2025” beats “Grow fast.”

  • Measurable KPIs with baselines. e.g., Churn <3%/mo; CAC payback <6 months.

  • Consistent voice. e.g., Plain, direct, no hype; avoid exclamation marks.

  • Named audiences. 2–4 segments with 2–3 key pains each.

  • Guardrails. What to avoid (claims, tactics, topics).

The takeaway

Treat this as your brand’s operating manual for the AI. The more accurate and complete the picture, the more your outputs will feel tailored, relevant, and useful to your specific business.

Parameters

Here you set the frame for how the AI understands your business: your sales model, industry, target audiences, logistics needs, and which systems provide data. The choices you make here shape the context for all analyses, reports, and recommendations.

Business model & sales form:

Subscription business
Check this if you sell via subscriptions (recurring revenue and retention).
The AI will emphasise churn/retention, CLTV and subscription flows.

One-time purchase business
Check this if you mainly sell stand-alone purchases without a contract.
The AI focuses more on repeat-purchase cadence, campaigns and product mix.

Primary business model
Briefly describe your overall model (e.g., e-commerce, consulting, SaaS, retail).
Gives the AI a baseline for your commercial logic and typical buying cycle.

Industry & audience:

Industry
Select or enter your sector (e.g., fashion, food, technology).
Used for benchmarks, tone, relevant channels and topics.

Primary target group
Describe your main customer type (e.g., B2B/B2C, age range, roles, key demographics).
Helps the AI tailor suggestions, messaging and segmentation.

Operations & logistics:

Logistics needs
Note any specific requirements (e.g., inventory management, dropshipping, physical distribution).
Influences recommendations for operational workflows and delivery/service messaging.

Customer behaviour (one-time purchases):

One-time purchase lapse window (days)
How many days typically pass before a one-time buyer is considered “lapsed.”
Determines when the AI proposes win-back actions, new offers or revised segmentation, and affects value/loyalty calculations.

Data sources & integrations:

Simplero is our primary data source
Check if Simplero is your main source for sales and customer data.
When multiple sources are enabled, the AI treats Simplero as the “source of truth” so reports and KPIs stay consistent.

Shopify
Check if you use Shopify as your e-commerce platform.
Enables product, order and customer data for analysis and recommendations.

Klaviyo
Check if you use Klaviyo for email marketing and automation.
Enables suggestions for segments, flows and messages based on behaviour.

Handy rules of thumb:

  • Be specific in descriptions (fewer buzzwords, more concrete examples).

  • Choose the dominant sales model (subscription or one-time) that best reflects revenue—AI calculations prioritise accordingly.

  • Set the lapse window realistically; too short/long skews win-back timing and value estimates.

  • If multiple sources are active, declare one primary data source for stable reporting.

In short: Once these fields are clear, the AI operates with the right context—who you are, whom you sell to, how you run the business, and where data comes from—so recommendations feel relevant and genuinely useful.

Costs

This is where you record your fixed and variable sales/marketing expenses. These inputs power profitability calculations and give the AI an accurate view of costs, so analyses and recommendations stay precise.

Fields (and what they cover)

  • Costs for Online Marketing
Total monthly spend on digital channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, SEO, email, etc.).
Used to understand paid/organic mix and to assess COCA.

  • Costs for Traditional Marketing
Offline activities such as print, events, outdoor, TV/radio, etc.
Completes the cross-channel marketing spend picture.

  • Salaries for Sales Staff
Total monthly payroll for the sales team (fixed salaries incl. statutory add-ons).
Feeds into sales costs and affects COCA and margins.

  • Commission
Total monthly sales commissions paid to reps.
Complements salaries for a more accurate cost-per-sale profile.

  • Other Sales Costs
Any additional direct sales expenses (tools, travel, demo materials) not covered above.
Ensures the entire sales effort is costed correctly.

  • Other Operating Costs
Business expenses outside sales/marketing (e.g., admin, IT licences, advisors).
Provides a complete view of fixed/variable operating costs.

Tip
Enter monthly figures and keep the same scope every time. Consistency is key to comparable KPIs (e.g., COCA/CLTV) across months.

Kickback Agreement

The Kickback Agreement is CmpGme’s collaboration and payment agreement with your company. It explains how the kickback is calculated from the revenue growth our work generates—plus the rules for settlement and termination.

You can always find the current Kickback Agreement here.
